Emily and Mark’s Charming Rustic Wedding – May 7, 2016 in Grand Rapids

My dear friend Emily asked me to help set up her reception hall for her May 7th wedding in Grand Rapids. Of course, I said yes, not only because we are good friends from college, but Emily and I have very similar styles – rustic, reused, affordable and fun.

Emily did a great job finding great deals on her centerpieces. She reused much of the stuff they had laying around the house and took a few trips to second-hand stores to find the remaining pieces. Emily painted all the vases herself and had them labeled for me to place on the tables. She made it really easy for me! 🙂

Between the cute “our love is poppin” popcorn favors to the funny messages at the bar, Emily’s ideas make the venue feel very personalized. Check out some of her details and tablescapes below.
