Last week, one of my beautiful brides and I sat down to create her seating chart. Surprisingly, it was easier than we excepted. I am a visual person, so we thought the easiest way to “seat” guests would be by placing them at tables.
We bought a cheap poster board from Target and some cute mini post it notes. Then, we took all of her RSVPs and grouped them in proposed tables. As we started to “seat” guests at the tables, we wrote their name on the post-it and placed the post-it on the table. We started with immediate family, then extended family and finally friends and co-workers. Check out the before and after of the seating chart below.
